You have no idea how accurate this is.

i think the look we were going for was “crushing depression” complimented by “there is no hope” with just a hint of “you’re going to stare at the same mouldy boxes until you die in one of them so i hope you like brick”

Sunset at the ancient ruins in Rome.

[Did I mention that my friend and I (sort of) witnessed a marriage proposal while we were there?]

This time last year, I was sitting in front of my computer learning about the wondrous event called Eurovision.

Mind. Blown.

I’m going to have to check BBC America to see if they broadcast it here. Wish me luck!

I don't know if you'll be able to answer this buuuut.. When applying for a Tier 4 Student Visa, you are required to show proof of your finances. You must have sufficient funds to cover the school fees and living expenses. Do they take into consideration student loans you'll have? Or must you have the entire amount prior to applying. I don't think I'll have enough to cover the £20,000+ I need for the financial requirement of the visa(I start school in Sept). Can you tell me your story? Thanks!

Hello!

Someone had asked a similar question a few weeks ago. [click here]

If you still have questions after, feel free to come back. :)

Several of you have asked me what Newcastle is like (because let’s be honest, a lot of us internationals are only familiar with London). If you’re wondering how living in northern England differs from being in London…

THIS IS IT. THE ACCURACY IS HILARIOUS.

1. There’s the country side. (I advise you to take trips into Northumberland, it is gorgeous. Several of my friends have taken trips to the Lake District and I have seen amazing photos.)

3. Other things you will miss? Well, proper fish and chips for a start. (There is a fish and chip shop in Tynemouth - a 20 min metro ride from Newcastle city center. IT IS SO GOOD.)

6. Being near Scotland (Edinburgh is only an 1hr 30m by train, great for a short weekend trip.)

14. How friendly everyone is (Geordies are known for being super nice.)
